My Adventure in the First Snow
So basically I have a problem with college. Today we got 6 inches of snow at my house, it was hailing when i woke up, and the street had not been plowed yet when i woke up. Yet when I called “weather phone” they informed me that “ School is running on a normal schedule today. Have a great day.” I hung up the phone depressed. How in the world was I going to make it to my 8am class on time I wondered. I decided to skip it because it was just the 2nd to last one of the semester, not important. But I needed to go to my 10am one which was my English final exam.
Getting ready to go I figured that since our house is in like its own climate that maybe Quinnipiac hadn't been as affected by the snow. Boy was I wrong. The whole way to school I had to slush through snow on the roads, drive extra slow trying to see because of the pouring rain, and when I finally arrived at QU walk through puddles to the main campus. Upon arriving in the QUAD I thought I had been transported to the middle of Lake Whitney or something. Every single pathway had like 2 inches of water. Something they decided not to advertise in their beautiful brochures. People were splashing through on their way to class. There were UGGS and Rubber rain boots everywhere! Unfortunately for me I own neither of these. So my socks were a bit soggy by the time I got to my class. I took my exam and got out of that lake as soon as possible.
So since I did not have a snow day today, when i believe one was merited, I must go to class soon. Ugh, one of my last night classes. Criminal Law. Its final review time tonight. Friday ends QU101. Monday ends Photography. Wednesday ends Criminal Law. Thursday ends Sociology. Then I am officially done with this semester! I can’t wait for it. A month of Christmas break! :)
Off to class in this soggy slush I go. Bye.

I didn't get a snow day either :( depressing...
You "drive extra slow"?? now way, not possible!! you only drive fast.
Let's hope the soggy slush doesn't turn into ice...
p.s. liking the new template :)
Haha thanks. I like it because its red, and jagged lol. If that even makes sense.

And PS it did turn into ice. it went from being just a pond to an ice skating rink, getting to class is an adventure
